What to expect during a TearCare treatment?

During a TearCare treatment session, our experienced team will carefully place specialized devices on your eyelids. These devices are designed to deliver controlled heat to your meibomian glands to liquify and unclog stagnant oil. The treatment is painless and typically takes around 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Many patients find the procedure relaxing and even enjoy the soothing sensations. After the treatment, Dr. Dennis will perform an expression to remove the oil and improve the function of the meibomian glands.
